The Challenge
Lantmännen, one of Scandinavia's leading agriculture and food companies, needed to strengthen their operational IT platform capabilities around Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. The organization faced challenges in managing multiple environments, applications, and lifecycle management activities across their corporate group companies.
The existing infrastructure lacked standardized configurations for supporting IT services, making it difficult for business units with their own development teams to work in a secure and stable platform. Our Solution
BondIT deployed an IT Solution Specialist to serve as the technical architect and operational lead for Lantmännen's Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 infrastructure. Our consultant brought deep expertise in platform administration, governance, and DevOps automation.
We developed and implemented automated solutions that uniformly configure supporting services for environments at scale, using Azure DevOps Pipelines, ARM templates, CLI tools, and PowerShell scripts. This established a robust framework for lifecycle management, monitoring, security, and compliance across all platform environments.
Our specialist handled incidents, requests, changes, and problem management through Lantmännen's ITSM tools during business hours, addressing questions related to identity and access management (IAM), licensing, monitoring, and security for multiple environments and applications. This included establishing best practices for Azure Entra ID configurations and connectivity.
Acting as a Center of Excellence, our consultant provided strategic guidance and technical support to development teams across business areas, participated in various projects, and collaborated with other IT groups to ensure cohesive platform governance and standardization.
